Jona Kümper

born 1973, is a freelance pianist and composer living in Bochum, Germany. He studied piano with Prof. Arnulf von Arnim, Prof. Gilead Mishory und Prof. Nina Tichman at Musikhochschule Dortmund and Musikhochschule Köln, where he obtained his concert exam in 2004.

In addition, he studied music theory. He was a scholar of the German Federal Land NRW (2021) and held the scholarship "Musikfonds" in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

 

Jona Kümper gained numerous national and international awards.

His works were performed in Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the USA.
